Next stop on the Spring Break: Costa Rica!!
Monday, May 5th, 2008I came back from Costa Rica a month ago, so there is just sooo much to tell! Where to start? Well I went there as a graduation trip with me and my 4 best girlfriends. We’re all moving to different parts of the country after graduation, so this was our last trip together *tear* We had such an AMAZING time, it was a really great place to go to take an action adventure vacation!!
First stop, La Fortuna, known for its volcano, The Arenal Volcano. Although that was my least favorite region on the trip (too touristy!) the hotspring were amaaaazing. We also went horseback riding to the waterfall, which was supa fun.

From La Fortuna, we took a jeep, then a boat, then anoooother jeep to Monteverde.

In Monteverde we went to a coffee plantation. I had NO idea that one coffee bean off of the plant was equal to SIX cups of coffee!
AHHHH turanchula!!
Next day we went to Selvatura for canopying!! That was one of the main highlights of our trip. You basically are harnessed to a cable and zoom 80 ft over the rainforest!

Next stop was Manuel Antonio! This was such a beautiful place, I really want to come back here. There were sloths and monkeys everywhere!
Before we left we also went canyoning, where you climb up and rappel down a 90 ft waterfall
After everything, it was super nice to just relax on the beach!!
